Arsenal is reported to be offer £60m as Mikel Arteta is target pursuing a summer transfer for a former Man City player.

Before the summer transfer deadline, Arsenal is allegedly working on a deal to sign Madrid midfielder Brahim Diaz.

With ten games remaining in the Premier League, Mikel Arteta is leading the Gunners to the top of the standings, and they are having a great season thus far.

Is Arsenal creating a stir in the transfer window?
Arsenal defeated Porto on penalty kicks to advance to the Champions League round of 16, where they will take on Bayern Munich.

And with Arteta’s squad getting better every year since the Spaniard’s arrival at the Emirates Stadium in 2019, Arsenal will once again be a big player in the transfer market.

During that time, Arteta’s team has improved thanks to the summer additions of Declan Rice, David Ray, and Kai Havertz. Additionally, there is enthusiasm about Jurrien Timber’s return to fitness.

Many people believe that Arsenal needs a center striker this summer since former players and pundits don’t think the team can win the Premier League with Eddie Nketiah and Gabriel Jesus as their two key attackers.

That is probably going to happen, but Arteta is also eager to improve his position as an attacking midfielder and winger, according to the Spanish publication Nacional.

According to the source, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez must decide whether to sell or keep Diaz after Arsenal made an offer of €70 million (£60 million) for him before the summer transfer deadline.

The former Manchester City player, who was present at the Etihad Stadium while Arteta was his assistant, has drawn interest from Arsenal after demonstrating in recent weeks that he is prepared to take his place among Real Madrid’s top players.

However, the summer acquisition of Kylian Mbappe on a free transfer “means it will be even more difficult for Brahim to become a starter.”

As the main club requesting his services in the upcoming transfer window, Arsenal is “in the auction” for him, and he will “consider packing his bags.”

There is still money available for David Raya from the Gunners.

While Ray is currently on a season-long loan from Brentford, Arsenal, who has long been interested in Diaz, will also pay £27 million to the Brentford goalkeeper this summer to complete Ray’s permanent move to the Emirates Stadium.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano told Caught Offside, “We already know that Arsenal’s plans for next season include a permanent purchase of goalkeeper David Rayo from Brentford after his heroics in the Champions League this week.”

“Arsenal has an option to buy under this contract, but for financial fair play, they made it an initial loan with a buyout clause even though there was a previous agreement between Brentford and Arsenal.
